Miami Marlins vs Milwaukee Brewers

Things have started to look positive as of late for the Miami Marlins as they take series wins against both the Detroit Tigers and New York Mets. I know you can say those are two teams that are struggling this season but the upcoming test would be the Milwaukee Brewers. The Brewers currently sit in first of the NL Central with a 28-21 record just two games ahead of the Chicago Cubs.

Game 1: Marlins 3-2 Brewers

Ryan Weathers vs Joe Ross

Josh Bell hit a bases loaded single in the 10th for a Marlins walk-off giving them the series opening victory 3-2.

Game 2: Marlins 5-7 Brewers

Trevor Rogers vs Robert Gasser

Former Marlin Christian Yelich haunts his old team with a two-run triple late in the game to help the Brewers earn the 7-5 victory.

Game 3: Marlins 1-0 Brewers

Jesus Luzardo vs Freddy Peralta

Eight shutout innings from Luzardo plus a Jazz Chisholm Jr solo homer was the only difference for the 1-0 victory and series victory.

Next up for the Miami Marlins is a road trip visiting the Arizona Diamondbacks at the weekend.
