Miami Marlins vs Colorado Rockies

It wasn't a series win for the Marlins but they did manage to steal the final game against the Chicago Cubs at home. It was on the road next for a couple of days out west for the Marlins where they will kick off the trip against the Colorado Rockies who is also one of the worst teams in the MLB. The most exciting news out of this series has to be Griffin Conine getting his professional debut with his dad Jeff Conine "Mr. Marlin" in attendance. The Fish would kick off a four-game series at Coors Field.

Game 1: Marlins 2-3 Rockies

Edward Cabrera vs Ryan Feltner

Ryan McMahon homers to open the series with a 3-2 victory over Miami.

Game 2: Marlins 9-8 Rockies

Roddery Munoz vs Cal Quantrill

Five runs scored by the Marlins in the 9th goes ahead and ties the series with the 9-8 victory.

Game 3: Marlins 2-8 Rockies

Max Meyer vs Kyle Freeland

Kyle Freehand going six innings plus a homer from Aaron Schunk gives the Rockies the 8-2 victory to take the series lead.

Game 4: Marlins 12-8 Rockies

Valente Bellozo vs Bradley Blalock

Derek Hill would homer twice with Kyle Stowers bringing in four runs for the Marlins to finish the series tied with the Rockies after the 12-8 victory.

Next up for the Miami Marlins is a road series visiting the San Francisco Giants.
