LIV Miami Nightclub blocks LIV Golf trademark

LIV Miami Nightclub blocks LIV Golf trademark

This past week Miami nightclub owner Dave Grutman who owns the world famous LIV nightclub at the Fountainbleau Hotel filed a motion in court to block the trademark approval of LIV Golf which is backed by the Saudi crown prince.

Grutman is concerned that people will think that LIV Miami owns the Saudi golf league because of the similarity of the logo branding. He feels like the golf league is trying to profit off of the success of the club.

The matter will be presented in front of an appeals board and if the matter is not resolved then it will go to trial.

This won't be the first lawsuit that LIV golf is involved with after the PGA Tour filed a lawsuit against them and won the preliminary hearing.
