The Marlins entered the series against their Northern California opponents after sweeping rival NL East Washington Nationals during the week. Jon Berti's RBI single in the 8th was the only run in this game which gave the Marlins the 1-0 victory over the Giants.
Game 3: Marlins 5-7 Giants
Jesus Luzardo vs Alex Wood
Patrick Bailey earned his first ever career HR in the big leagues surpassing the Marlins for a series win with the 7-5 Giants victory.
Next up for the Miami Marlins on this west coast road trip is the Colorado Rockies in a four-game series.
