This could be the final time that formula one visits Imola as F1 has stated recently that they don't believe in the future there could be space for two Italian races. It started off as a disappointing weekend for the Tifosi as Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton had a terrible qualifying. Max Verstappen pulled off a great move on the first lap on Oscar Piastri and never looked back. Hamilton and Leclerc would make a comeback ending the day on a positive note. Lando Norris as well would make up for his poor qualifying finishing on the podium. Mercedes had a tough day with George Russell falling out of a podium spot with Kimi Antonelli not being able to finish the race. The Williams team also had a great day finishing in the top 10 continuing a great season.
