The Miami Heat made a statement response last time out completely destroying the Atlanta Hawks by a final score of 131-109. The next game would prove a challenge for Miami welcoming the Indiana Pacers who enter South Beach sitting 5th in the Eastern Conference. The Pacers were also looking to make it two consecutive victories after defeating the Toronto Raptors at home. Indiana has gotten the best of Miami this season three out of the four matchups. 










Tyler Herro once again leads the Heat in scoring with 29 points and was followed by Bam Adebayo who put up 18 on the night. Jaime Jaquez Jr who got the start tonight chimed in with 11 points and following was Davion Mitchell finishing with 10 points on the night. Closing out the starting lineup for Miami was Kel'el Ware finishing with eight points. Off the bench for the Heat was Duncan Robinson having a second consecutive monster game with 20 points. 










For the Indiana Pacers it was Pascal Siakam leading his team dropping 36 points on the night. Myles Turner clocked in after Siakam finishing the night with 22 points. The Pacers main superstar Tyrese Haliburton only contributed with 19 points. Andrew Nembhard would finish the game with nine points and closing out the starting lineup would be Aaron Nesmith finishing with seven points. Off the bench for Indiana it was former Heat player Thomas Bryant finishing with eight points. 














Duncan Robinson had the best shooting percentage through two games in franchise history shooting 57% against Atlanta and 58% against Indiana. The last time the Pacers played the Heat, Indiana led the Heat by as much as 14 points. Head coach Rick Carlisle knew that it would be different this time heading into the Kaseya Center. Andrew Wiggins would miss the game for the Heat dealing with a sprained right ankle meanwhile Jaquez Jr left in the 3rd quarter after turning his right ankle. 













Miami would go on a 13-0 run lasting four minutes lasting from the final minute of the third and ending after three minutes in the fourth quarter. The Heat on this run would turn a one-point deficit in the fourth to a 104-92 lead. At halftime both the Heat and Pacers had scored more than 60 points which is the fifth game in 37 years where both teams had that many points by halftime. The Pacers would lose that lead after halftime and lose the game 125-120.














Up next for the Miami Heat is a home game welcoming the New York Knicks to the Kaseya Center.
