The NFL has named the Miami Dolphins one of the hottest teams in the league since the return of QB Tua Tagavailoa. Miami has made a comeback with a streak of games with the most impressive against the Los Angeles Rams. They only had three wins on the season and have gone up to 5-6 ahead of anticipated matchup on Thanksgiving against the Green Bay Packers. But first, Miami would welcome divisional rivals the New England Patriots to Hard Rock Stadium. 









For the Dolphins it was QB Tua Tagavailoa going 29/40 on 317 yards adding four touchdowns on the afternoon. The rushing game for Miami was led by De'Von Achane with 10 carries adding on 32 yards and no touchdowns. The rookie Jaylen Wright followed that with seven carries adding 28 yards and also no touchdowns. In receiving it was Jaylen Waddle going for eight receptions finishing with 144 yards adding one touchdown. The FIU product Jonnu Smith finished behind Waddle with nine receptions for 87 yards also picking up a touchdown. 











For the Patriots it was QB Drake Maye going for 22/37 finishing with 222 yards plus one touchdown and one interception. Antonio Gibson led the way for New England with six carries finishing with 31 yards and no touchdowns. DeMario Douglas was on top of the charts for receiving for the Patriots finishing with five receptions on 62 yards and no touchdowns. Austin Hooper would have that honor snagging one touchdown off of four receptions for 59 yards.











LB Anthony Walker Jr for the Dolphins sustained a hamstring injury in the second quarter and has now been ruled out for the thanksgiving game at Green Bay. It was a blowout for Miami over New England with the scores for the Patriots coming late in the game when Miami had put in their second unit which included Skylar Thompson replacing Tagavailoa. This will be the third straight season for New England that they finish under .500. The Dolphins defeat the Patriots by a final score of 34-15. 












Next up for the Miami Dolphins is a road game visiting the Green Bay Packers.
