Miami Dolphins vs Los Angeles Rams

Miami Dolphins vs Los Angeles Rams

Three straight losses for the Miami Dolphins and somehow they're still in the hunt for a playoff spot as well as being able to get a high draft pick. Injuries have been an issue this season with the last three losses coming against the Indianapolis Colts, Arizona Cardinals, and Buffalo Bills. The Dolphins would hit the road for Monday Night Football visiting the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium. The Rams enter the game coming off an OT victory over divisional opponent the Seattle Seahawks.

For the Dolphins it was Tua Tagavailoa going for 207 yards on 20/28 with one touchdown and one interception. On the rushing end it was De'Von Achane going for 37 yards off of 12 carries but did not find the end zone. Malik Washington would only have one carry that would go for 18 yards resulting in a touchdown. On the receiving end it was Jaylen Waddle leading the way with three receptions for 57 yards. Tyreek Hill didn't have the best of nights with just three receptions for 16 yards but would record one touchdown.

For the Rams it was Matthew Stafford going for 293 yards on 32/46 with zero touchdowns and one interception. On the Rams rushing end it was Kyren Williams going for 15 carries on 62 yards but would not find the end zone. On the receiving end for the Rams it was Puka Nacua with nine receptions for 98 yards but no touchdowns. Cooper Kupp would follow for seven receptions on 80 yards as well as no touchdowns.

Another night another injury for Miami with CB Kendall Fuller going out of the game with a concussion his second of the season. This was the first time this season and we're in week 10 that the Dolphins receiving core was fully healthy. Hill's touchdown in the third quarter ended the longest scoring drought he's had in his career. The Miami defense was key in this game forcing two turnovers keeping the Rams out of the end zone.

The Dolphins were decisive on third downs in this game converting six of them coming on pivotal moments. Joshua Karty was a busy man on Monday night kicking five field goals for the Rams as the Dolphins defense did not allow Los Angeles run game to go anywhere. It was only the second time in four years that the Rams could not score a touchdown. The Dolphins pick up the big win 23-15 over the Rams with Miami advancing to 3-6 on the season.

Next up for the Miami Dolphins is a home game welcoming the Las Vegas Raiders to Hard Rock Stadium.
