Florida Panthers vs New Jersey Devils
The New Jersey Devils would be paying the Florida Panthers a visit to Amerant Bank Arena twice this week. The Devils enter the sunshine state after defeating the San Jose Sharks by a final score of 1-0 at home. For the Panthers it's been a hot winning streak with the last game ending in a shootout against the Philadelphia Flyers with Florida taking the victory 4-3. Florida currently sits first in the Eastern Conference looking to extend the winning streak and lead at the top.
Game 1: Panthers 1-4 Devils
It was a rout for the Devils putting four goals past Florida putting an end to their winning streak with the final score being 4-1.
Game 2: Panthers 2-6 Devils
The Panthers scored first but three power play goals from the Devils helped propel them to victory 6-2.
Next up for the Florida Panthers is a home game welcoming the Winnipeg Jets to Amerant Bank Arena.
