Inter Miami CF vs Atlanta United
Final competition left for this historic Inter Miami CF team to go out and win. They were bounced out of the CONCACAF Champions Cup and Leagues Cup. They did clinch the supporters shield breaking the record for most points in Major League Soccer history. This would leave them with the MLS Cup Playoffs entering as the first seed and predicted to win the entire thing. They would enter the best of three series facing Atlanta United who barely go into the playoffs.
Game 1: Inter Miami CF 2-1 Atlanta United
Luis Suarez and Jordi Alba carried Miami at Chase Stadium to take a 1-0 series lead with the 2-1 victory over Atlanta.
Game 2: Inter Miami CF 1-2 Atlanta United
With their backs up against the wall facing elimination it was Xande Silva with a late goal keeping the series alive for Atlanta with the 2-1 victory over Miami.
Game 3: Inter Miami CF 2-3 Atlanta United
Both teams facing elimination and it did not disappoint with teams exchanging punches by at the end of the day it was Atlanta United advancing to round two after defeating Miami 3-2 on the road.
That would conclude the season for Inter Miami CF as they were part of the biggest upset in MLS history and would be a failed campaign.
