Miami Dolphins vs Arizona Cardinals

 Miami Dolphins vs Arizona Cardinals

It's not the season the Miami Dolphins have expected but somehow are still in the running for the AFC East. The biggest news is that this game against the Arizona Cardinals is the return of Tua Tagavailoa after suffering a concussion against the Buffalo Bills. The Arizona Cardinals enter Hard Rock Stadium with a 3-4 record after defeating the Los Angeles Chargers. Kyler Murray is still a very mobile dangerous QB and should not be taken for granted.

On the return for Tua Tagavailoa he would finish the afternoon 28/38 for 234 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions. On the ground it was De'Von Achane going for 10 carries on 97 yards but would not find the end zone. Raheem Mostert would go for 9 carries for just 19 yards but would get two touchdowns with the longest run being 13 yards. Tyreek Hill looked much better then he has in recents weeks with 6 receptions going for 72 yards but no touchdowns.

For the Arizona Cardinals it was Kyler Murray going for 26/36 on 307 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions. On the ground for Arizona it was James Connor with 20 carries for 53 yards and just one touchdown. On the receiving end it was Trey McBride with 9 receptions for 124 yards but no touchdowns. Marvin Harrison Jr and Michael Wilson would both get a touchdown with Harrison Jr finishing with 111 yards.

At halftime it was the Dolphins leading the Cardinals by a low score of 13-7 but in the second half the Miami defense could not contain Murray. In the fourth quarter the Cardinals found themselves down two scores and showed why he could be considered for the running of the MVP. Led by Murray, Connor would be able to sneak in for a two-yard touchdown to make it a 27-25 game. The Dolphins were not able to do anything with the ball and it went back to Arizona.

Murray would lead the Cardinals right back down the field that took 13 plays and would go for 71 yards in the 5:01 minutes. This would set up a dramatic field goal that would set up the Cardinals for the victory and ruin the return of Tua Tagavailoa. Chad Ryland would step up and nail the field goal giving the Cardinals the 28-27 victory over the Dolphins. The Cardinals go ahead and advance to a 4-4 record meanwhile the Dolphins fall to a 2-5 record.

Next up for the Miami Dolphins is a road game visiting the Buffalo Bills.
