Miami Marlins vs San Diego Padres
After coming off an impressive split series with the Atlanta Braves, the Marlins entered another four-game series with the Cincinnati Reds. Another chance to do something impressive and they almost got it done but were only take away one game out of the four. It was time to come back home as the Marlins welcomed in the second place NL West the San Diego Padres.
Game 1: Marlins 2-6 Padres

Manny Machado a Miami native comes up clutch for the Padres in the 10th opening up the series with a 6-2 victory.
Game 2: Marlins 8-9 Padres
Roddery Munoz vs Matt Waldron
Another extra innings game with former Marlin Luis Arraez punishing Miami with the Padres winning the game 9-8 and the series.
Game 3: Marlins 7-6 Padres
Max Meyer vs Dylan Cease
Jake Burger hits a homer for his third straight game helping Miami avoid the sweep earning the victory 7-6.
Next up for the Miami Marlins is a road trip visiting the Philadelphia Phillies.
