Miami Heat vs Orlando Magic

 Miami Heat vs Orlando Magic

It was a grind it out game for the Miami Heat last time out dropping 128-120 at the hands of the Oklahoma City Thunder. Miami has struggled against Western Conference teams but happily the Heat will face 6 Eastern Conference teams up next. The Heat would welcome in-state rivals the Orlando Magic to the Kaseya Center.

Miami entered the game against Orlando without Jimmy Butler, Tyler Herro, and Kyle Lowry but would get Caleb Martin back in the lineup. Duncan Robinson led the team with 23 points followed by Bam Adebayo with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Jaime Jaquez Jr would have another nice night capitalizing on 19 points.

Paolo Banchero was the lead man for the Orlando Magic leading his young team with 25 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists. Moe Wagner would follow with 19 points followed by Chuma Okeke with 16 and the veteran Joe Ingles tacking on 14 points. This Magic team is young but dangerous and that's why they're currently in a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

So far this season the Miami Heat have not won any game in which they have scored fewer then 100 points. The Magic almost completed a comeback but Adebayo would hit the go ahead jumper with 18 seconds that would ultimately win the game. Banchero would miss three attempts in the final seconds from close range to try to take the lead but was unsuccessful.

The Miami Heat would defeat the Orlando Magic 99-96 to remain perfect in the southeast division but currently sit 7th in the Eastern Conference with a 22-16 record. For the Magic they sit right behind the Heat in 8th with a 21-17 record after the loss.

Next up for the Miami Heat is a home game welcoming the Charlotte Hornets to the Kaseya Center.
