Miami Heat vs Charlotte Hornets

 Miami Heat vs Charlotte Hornets

The Miami Heat were back on track with a victory over the Orlando Magic the last time out getting back into the victory column after falling to the Thunder. Injuries have plagued the Heat all season long but the roster is so diverse that they've been able to battle. They welcomed southeastern division opponents the Charlotte Hornets to the Kaseya Center.

Bam Adebayo had another stellar night bringing in 24 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 assists proving to be the second superstar when Jimmy Butler isn't on the floor. Tyler Herro concluded the night with 21 points which included four three pointers. Duncan Robinson also continues to impress as of late with 19 points followed by Jaime Jaquez Jr with 15 but left early due to a groin strain.

Terry Rozier or "scary Terry" as they call him finished the game for Charlotte with 26 points followed by LaMelo Ball who had 21 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists. Miles Bridges would finish the night with 20 points as the Hornets currently sit in 13th of the Eastern Conference struggling to get victories. Charlotte has only earned 8 victories so far this season despite having a young talented roster.

For a rare occasion on Sunday night the Miami Heat did not trail in a basketball game or blow a 4th quarter lead. The Heat were in cruise control making 11 out of 25 from downtown sweeping their season series against the Charlotte Hornets with the 104-87 victory. Miami has now also won their 22nd straight game at home against a southeast division opponent.

The game wasn't the only spectacle at the Kaseya Center on Sunday night as Miami celebrated Dwyane Wade on his hall of fame induction giving a nice speech at halftime. Pat Riley would give the biggest news of all announcing that the Heat will unveil a Dwyane Wade statue in front of the Kaseya Center next month which left Wade in tears.

Next up for the Miami Heat is a road game visiting the Brooklyn Nets at the Barclays Center.
