Miami Heat vs Chicago Bulls

 Miami Heat vs Chicago Bulls

It was an embarrassing result last time out for the Miami Heat against the Chicago Bulls as it was an avalanche of points in the first half. Miami did get the lead down to 5 but with injuries and Chicago draining shots it was impossible to close the gap. The Bulls entered Kaseya Center on Saturday night looking for a back-to-back sweep of the Heat.

Jimmy Butler was back on top as he scored 28 points against the team that drafted him. Kevin Love would chime in with 22 points with Jaime Jaquez Jr scoring 18 points with Caleb Martin scoring 17 followed by Kyle Lowry 10 points and 7 assists. It would be the last game without Tyler Herro, Bam Adebayo, and Haywood Highsmith.

For the Chicago Bulls it was DeMar DeRozan leading his team with 27 points who was spotted hanging out with Butler and Lowry on Friday night. Patrick Williams was right behind DeRozan scoring 25 points and was followed by Coby White who added 22 points having another nice game. Torrey Craig would finish the game with 16 points and finally Nikola Vucevic would end the night with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

It was another close battle between Chicago and Miami with this time the Bulls dealing with injuries of their own as Craig would go down being ruled out at halftime as well as Alex Caruso missing another game. Vucevic would miss a go ahead shot with 15 seconds on the clock that certainly could've given the Bulls the win.

It was Jimmy Buckets to the rescue with a statement that was made just three weeks prior. Butler would miss a game winner against the New York Knicks and promised he would get the next one. Well, that promise was delivered because Butler would hit the step back at the buzzer to win the game for Miami 118-116.

Next up for the Miami Heat is a home game welcoming the Minnesota Timberwolves to the Kaseya Center.
