Miami Heat vs Atlanta Hawks

 Miami Heat vs Atlanta Hawks

It was an impressive road win for the Miami Heat at the KIA Center against the Orlando Magic without Jimmy Butler and Kevin Love. It's always the best when you hear the "let's go Heat" chants on the road especially against an Orlando team that is playing well this season. Miami would be right back at home welcoming the Atlanta Hawks.

Tyler Herro once again was the man of the game scoring 30 points after finishing with 28 against Orlando. Duncan Robinson would have 27 points with 21 of them coming in the 4th quarter lighting it up from beyond the arch. Robinson would tie the most points he has ever scored in a quarter with the other coming in 2019 against Cleveland. Jaime Jaquez Jr scored 19 points and with the big man Bam Adebayo finishing with 18 points.

Trae Young would make some history with the Hawks as he finished with 30 points and 13 assists making it his sixth consecutive game with 30 points and 10 assists. That would tie the second largest streak in NBA history with Oscar Robertson being in first place. Dejounte Murray would finish the night with 24 points and Bogdan Bogdanovic scoring 23 points.

With the way Herro and Robinson were shooting it made it extremely difficult for Young and the Hawks to take over the game. Miami were down 11 in the 3rd quarter before Robinson would score 11 straight points rallying the Heat.

The Heat are one of the few teams in the league that have done a good job guarding Young with only Dallas and Utah being the only other two teams keeping him at 39% shooting. He would shoot 10 for 22 and 7 for 13 from three point land as the Heat defeat the Hawks 122-113 moving into 6th in the Eastern Conference.

Next up for the Miami Heat is a Christmas Day matchup welcoming the Philadelphia 76ers to the Kaseya Center.
