Miami Heat vs Brooklyn Nets
The last time the Miami Heat and Brooklyn Nets met it was a 109-105 victory for the Nets but things changed right after that game. Miami has gone on a six-game winning streak after that loss and has changed the opinions of many who were worried after such a poor start. All this with key injuries as well and now they have a chance to make it seven consecutive.
Jimmy Butler would go for 36 points on the night his performance so far this season. Duncan Robinson who's been playing well would add 26 points and for the big man Bam Adebayo it was 20 points. Miami has not won a game so far by double digits. They join the likes of Charlotte and Portland in the single digit victory club.
For the Brooklyn Nets it was Mikal Bridges and Lonnie Walker both scoring 23 points with Nic Claxton going perfect from the field scoring 16 points. Cam Johnson would also add 16 points as the Nets have defeated the Heat four out of their last five meetings.
Butler would tie his best performance in a regular season quarter in a Heat uniform as he dropped 18 points in the third quarter. Miami was finally back at home after being out on the road for 18 days which included nine games. The Heat would go on a 14-0 run and would never look back in the second half leading the entirety of the half.
The Heat would earn their seventh straight victory by defeating the Nets 122-115 pushing them to a 8-4 record sitting 4th in the Eastern Conference. The Brooklyn Nets would fall to 6-6 currently 10th in the conference and will host Philadelphia on Sunday.
