Miami Dolphins vs Carolina Panthers
The Miami Dolphins were right back at Hard Rock Stadium this past Sunday welcoming the winless Carolina Panthers. Miami returns after a 31-16 victory over the New York Giants bouncing back after their first loss of the season to Buffalo. Carolina entered the game after falling 42-24 at the hands of the Detroit Lions.
After falling 14-0 it was Tyreek Hill flipping the script getting business going for Miami. Hill would earn a 41-yard touchdown which would be part of his 6 caught passes for 163 yards. He currently leads the NFL in receiving with 814 yards.
It would be 35 straight points for the Dolphins after the Hill touchdown which promoted Miami's head coach Mike McDaniel to replace QB Tua Tagavailoa with Mike White. White would throw an interception that would help Carolina within 14.
RB Salvon Ahmed would shut the door on the Panthers with a 9-yard run into the end zone for the touchdown. Miami is the NFL's lead rushing team and tacked on 162 more yards through Ahmed.
Tagavailoa would finish the day 21 of 31 for 262 yards and leading the NFL with 1,876 passing yards so far this season.
The Miami Dolphins advance to a 5-1 record after defeating the Carolina Panthers 42-21 and are in control of the AFC East. The Carolina Panthers fall to 0-6 heading into a bye week still searching for the first victory of the season.
