Miami Dolphins vs Buffalo Bills

 Miami Dolphins vs Buffalo Bills

The 3-0 Miami Dolphins head into Highmark Stadium facing their first real test of the season up against AFC East rivals the Buffalo Bills. Miami has the best offense in the league with Tyreek Hill and early MVP candidate Tua Tagavailoa but many pundits say they have not faced a real test yet. They had a chance to prove them wrong and remain perfect on Sunday.

Buffalo QB Josh Allen would throw for four touchdowns and earn one rushing touchdown making it a total of five. Allen completed 25 passes for 320 yard with no interceptions having himself an afternoon.

Allen and WR Stefon Diggs would connect for three of the four touchdowns with one of them being a 55-yard bomb right before halftime. Diggs would finish the AFC East matchup with six catches for 120 yards.

Dolphins QB Tua Tagavailoa would go for 25 out of 35 throwing for 282 yards with one touchdown and one interception.

Miami ran the ball effectively once again and would go toe-to-toe with Buffalo all the way through the first half and a bit of the second half. Down 31-14, Tagavailoa would find Braxton Berrios in the end zone and elected to go for a two-point conversion which would fail.

An interception from Tua which was intercepted by Micah Hyde made Miami pay on the ensuing drive by Buffalo. Allen would find Diggs for a touchdown bringing the lead to 41-20 late in the third quarter.

Allen would seal the deal and take care of business himself with an 11-yard run for the touchdown extending the lead to 48-20. Bill defense at this point had absolutely shut down the Miami offense not giving them any sort of opportunity.

Unfortunately for the Bills at the end of the game, Tre'Davious White would suffer an achilles injury and had to be carted off the field. That sucked the mood out of the building as the Bills destroy the Dolphins by a final score of 48-20 handing Miami its first loss of the season.

Next up for the Miami Dolphins is a home game welcoming the New York Giants to Hard Rock Stadium at the weekend.
