Miami Dolphins vs Denver Broncos
There's not much criticism to have on this Miami Dolphins team currently at this moment in time. They have a great one two back duo with the genius of Mike McDaniel as the head coach. Tua Tagavailoa so far has been playing like the league MVP and we cant forget about his connection with WR Tyreek Hill. They welcomed the Denver Broncos to Hard Rock Stadium for the first home game of the season.
RB De'Von Achne had 233 total yards and four touchdowns including 203 rushing yards on 18 carries on what would turn out to be a historic day for the Dolphins organization. Miami put up 726 yards which hasn't been done since the New York Giants in 1966.
QB Tua Tagavailoa would go for 23 out of 26 for 309 yards and four touchdowns until he was replaced by QB Mike White. He had just three incompletions and two failed drives on the day as some say he is currently the favorite for league MVP even though it's early in the season.
Hill would earn himself nine catches for 157 yards including an opening 54-yard touchdown. This definitely helped with the absence of WR Jaylen Waddle who had to miss the game due to being in concussion protocol.
RB Raheem Mostert is on pace to shatter his career record with the games 142 total yards and four touchdowns. He was deadly alongside his teammate Achne as the Denver defense had no answer for the duo all afternoon long.
The Dolphins would go on to blowout the Broncos by a final score of 70-20 advancing their record to 3-0 on the season. Denver on the other hand would fall to 0-3 on the season still searching for the first victory of the year.
Next up for the Miami Dolphins is a road trip up to Orchard Park for an AFC East showdown against the Buffalo Bills.
