The Miami FC vs Memphis 901

The Miami FC were back at home Saturday night still searching for their first three points of the season. They welcomed in Memphis 901 to FIU Stadium who have yet to find a victory in 2023 as well.

It was a quick lead grab for the home side with a goal from Paco Craig with the service coming from Joaquin Rivas to make it 1-0. It was a fiercely contested match even though Miami had several opportunities as well as several corner kicks.

Memphis 901 would break the hearts of Miami FC fans again this season. Many fans have been frustrated with the teams ability to hold a lead. They're doing a great job bringing intensity and getting ahead but just can't hold on for a full 90 minutes.

With 10 minutes left in the match, Memphis would get some help from Miami on an own goal that would even the score at 1-1. This is not the first time Miami has conceded late in a match to share the points.

For Memphis 901, it was the teams first points of the 2023 season and well for Miami its another late blunder to share the points once again. The match finishes tied 1-1 and leaves Miami looking for their first victory of the season.
