Inter Miami CF vs FC Cincinnati

Inter Miami CF vs FC Cincinnati

For a sixth consecutive week the headline for Inter Miami CF was that there would be no Leonardo Campana or Robbie Robinson. On top of that would be the headline if this team could go on the road against a good FC Cincinnati team and break their three-match losing streak.

Miami would start the match with dominating possession even though we know now days with looking at the Spanish national team, that doesn't really matter.

Inter Miami would have a penalty called in their favor but after a VAR check it was determined that the foul occurred right outside of the box.

Minutes into stoppage time of the first half it would be defender Yerson Mosquera getting a head on the corner taken by Alvaro Barreal giving the home side the 1-0 lead.

The next clear chance for the visitors would be Negri firing a shot from distance and would result in the shot hitting the cross bar.

With the rain coming down at TQL Stadium it would be the home side that would secure the 1-0 victory to propel them up the table to first in the Eastern Conference.

For Inter Miami CF, it was the 4th straight loss and a fan base that is getting frustrated with this team and with head coach Phil Neville.

Next up for Inter Miami CF is a home match at DRV PNK Stadium welcoming in FC Dallas.
