Miami Marlins vs Cleveland Guardians
The Marlins look to get back on track after the winning streak was snapped by the San Francisco Giants but nonetheless another impressive series win. The Cleveland Guardians are currently battling for first place of the AL Central just one game behind the Minnesota Twins. This series took a turn with Friday's game being postponed due to weather resulting in a double header on Saturday.
Game 1: Marlins 6-1 Guardians
Devin Smeltzer vs Shane Bieber
Luis Arraez and Bryan De La Cruz take the Marlins on a cruise control victory with two-run single as well as a solo homer defeating Cleveland 6-1.
Game 2: Marlins 3-2 Guardians
Braxton Garrett vs Zach Plesac
Another big game for Arraez and De La Cruz who had three hits as well as Garrett Hampson getting in on the fun bringing in two runs to help the Marlins defeat the Guardians 3-2.
Game 3: Marlins 4-7 Guardians
Jesus Luzardo vs Logan Allen
Logan Allen former FIU Panther strikes out eight only allowing one homer to help the Guardians avoid the sweep defeating the Marlins 7-4.
The Marlins lose the last game but win the series and head to Atlanta to face their NL East rivals the Braves.
