Miami Marlins vs Arizona Diamondbacks
The Miami Marlins welcomed the Arizona Diamondbacks to loanDepot Park with Miami riding on a winning streak. Arizona on the other hand has had a great start in the NL West coming off series wins against the Dodgers and Brewers.
Game 1: Marlins 5-1 Diamondbacks
Trevor Rogers vs Madison Bumgarner
Rogers was incredible on the mound for Miami allowing only one run in six innings as the Marlins defeat the Diamondbacks 5-1.
Game 2: Marlins 3-2 Diamondbacks
Braxton Garrett vs Ryne Nelson
The game was closely contested and tied up twice during game 2. Luis Arraez would untie the game in a pinch hit single during the 7th inning to give the Marlins the 3-2 win.
Game 3: Marlins 0-5 Diamondbacks
Sandy Alcantara vs Zac Gallen
The Marlins were only able to accomplish two hits off of Gallen as Alcantara had a rare off-day. The Diamondbacks blank Miami defeating them 5-0 to avoid the sweep.
Next up for the Miami Marlins is a three-game home stand welcoming another NL West team to loanDepot Park in the San Francisco Giants.
