The Miami FC vs Detroit City
The Miami FC entered this match welcoming Detroit City as the home side continued to look for their first victory of the 2023 campaign. Detroit comes off a 1-0 loss at the hands of Louisville City while Miami comes off a 2-0 loss to their rivals the Tampa Bay Rowdies.
It was another close matchup at FIU Stadium with both teams creating chances to score. Miami had a total of 11 shots with only one on target meanwhile Detroit had 7 shots with two on target. The blue and orange had the most possession and pass accuracy as they have this season.
In the 48th minute it was Chapman-Page coming close to goal to draw first blood but the keeper made a miraculous save to keep things level.
It was Miami once again in the 77th minute but the struggles in the final third continue as the game continued level 0-0.
The Miami FC and Detroit City would finish the match level 0-0 sharing the points. Miami continues to search for the first victory of the season. They currently sit 11th in the Eastern Conference of the USL Championship with Detroit right above them in 10th.
