LeBron James becomes the #1 All-Time scorer in NBA history

LeBron James walked into the Crypto.com Arena on Tuesday night dressed in all black for the occasion that was anticipated. Many celebrities such as Bad Bunny, Jay-Z, Phil Knight, and Dwyane Wade were inn attendance for the matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and Oklahoma City Thunder.

James needed a 38-point performance to surpass Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the NBA's all-time leading scorer. Jabbar himself was in attendance to see the record he held for 30+ years possibly be broken. This night was about getting the ball in King James' hands in order to break the record. You can tell by the reaction of the crowd if anybody touched the ball who's name wasn't LeBron James. The Thunder would go on to win the game by a final score of 133-130.

James at halftime was just 16 points shy of breaking the record in which would be no problem for him in the second half. With just 10.3 seconds remaining in the 3rd quarter, James would hit the shot that would make him the scoring king.

The Lakers would call timeout as a mob of media would storm the court surrounding James. His family, Savannah James, Bronny James, Bryce James, Gloria James, and Zhuri James would join him on the court for a ceremony. NBA commissioner Adam Silver and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar would present James with the game ball with a choked up James grabbing the microphone for a short speech.

After the game, James would be interviewed by the TNT crew in which the 38-year old NBA legend would tell Shaquille O'Neal that he believes he is the best to ever play this game. He would go on to tell Candace Parker that he's got a lot left in the tank and a couple of more playing years.

LeBron James achieved this historical record as a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat, and Los Angeles Lakers franchises.
