United States Grand Prix
The F1 season was back in the United States after it's one stop in Miami but this time the season visited Austin. There will soon be three races in the United States with the expansion to Las Vegas next season.
The wind played a factor in this race with many drivers coming on the radio to announce they were feeling the conditions through the corners of the track. Carlos Sainz after taking pole position would be retired on lap one going through turn one after George Russell spun him out which resulted in FIA giving Russell a five second penalty. Charles Leclerc would have an impressive day after starting P12 would find himself on the podium. Fernando Alonso after almost going airborne and crashing into the wall would find himself finishing P7. We were gifted another epic battle between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton with the Dutchman getting the best of the Englishman. With the results of this race, it gave Red Bull the constructors championship title. Let's take a look at how things shaped up in Austin.
