The Miami FC vs Memphis 901
The Miami FC would give their fans one more showing at home for the 2022 regular season as they hosted Memphis 901. Miami will not have home field advantage during the playoffs so this really could be the last chance that fans will have to see their team.
This was all Miami from start to finish but would have only one goal to show for it. Miami would also control possession having chances in the 19th and 24th minutes before heading to the half all tied up 0-0.
The second half consisted of the home team being more aggressive on the attacking front. The Memphis back line held up pretty well all night despite the constant threat.
The 60th minute brought a fantastic chance by Joaquin Rivas who would strike a volley and getting deflected last minute.
It would be the substitute Andonijah Reid who would provide what was the match winning goal for Miami in the 90th minute. This would give Miami the +3 as they now focus to aim for higher seeding for the playoffs.
Up next for The Miami FC is a road match visiting the Las Vegas Lights in sin city.
