Singapore Grand Prix

 Singapore Grand Prix

After a week break in what was suppose to be the Russian Grand Prix but because of obvious world circumstances there was no race in Russia. This allowed the drivers that week break and would return this past weekend in what was the most demanding track in the season the Singapore Grand Prix.

It would be Charles Leclerc for Ferrari on pole position with his teammate Carlos Saint sitting in fourth. This race would be delayed an hour and five minutes due to rain which would leave the track wet for the two hours of race time. From the get go it would be Sergio Perez overtaking Leclerc on turn one and he would never look back. Hamilton and Verstappen would struggle all night long with both having spun out and losing positions. George Russell was never a factor in the race with Mercedes even considering at one point retiring his car for the day. Perez would get a penalty for overtaking the safety car but had such a big lead at the end of the race that a five second penalty did not matter. Let's take a look at how the weekend played out in Marina Bay.
