The Miami FC vs New Mexico United

The Miami FC vs New Mexico United

After a nice break it was time to get back to The Miami FC soccer as they hit the road to face New Mexico United who currently sits 4th in the Western Conference. New Mexico's last match was a 2-1 defeat at the hands of the Sacramento Republic. For Miami it was a 2-1 win on the road against Loudoun United as they look to build a winning streak.

Kyle Murphy was the star of the night for Miami making his presence known in stoppage time of the first half on a cross to make it 1-0. The South Florida club would take that lead into the dressing room at Rio Grande Credit Union Field.

Right out the gate starting the second half it would be Miami again extending their lead. it would be Murphy once again who was left unmarked at the back post who would slot it home to make it 2-0.

United would go on to turn the ball over making it a crucial mistake that they would pay for in the 79th minute. Romeo Parkes would have nothing but green grass in front of him to help extend the visitors lead to 3-0.

That would be the final score with Miami earning +3 and back-to-back victories with New Mexico United dropping back-to-back games.

Next up for The Miami FC is a mid week home match welcoming FC Tulsa.
