The Miami FC vs FC Tulsa

The Miami FC vs FC Tulsa

It had been a while that the orange and blue of The Miami FC had graced it's fans at FIU Stadium. They welcomed in an opponent in FC Tulsa who is fighting to jump into a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. Miami's last match up was a confident 3-0 victory meanwhile their opponent FC Tulsa suffered a 1-0 defeat.

Miami started the match with its usual pace and intensity which threw Tulsa off guard. Nothing really occurred through the first 20 minutes. It wasn't until the 25th minute when Miami's Paco Craig received a cross from a free kick at the back post to header it in to make it 1-0. The South Florida side felt confident especially against this Tulsa team that has been struggling this season.

It would not last long as just two minutes later, Dario Suarez would hammer it in the back of the net to equalize 1-1. Noah Powder would destroy Miami's hopes of a home win as the visitors would go ahead 2-1 in the 40th minute. They would go on to sit their defense back the rest of the night not allowing Miami to get any offensive production.

FC Tulsa would earn the +3 points bringing them right behind Miami in 8th place in the Eastern Conference. The Miami FC will remain in the final playoff spot of 7th for now.

The Miami FC will hit the road this weekend to face Atlanta United II.
