Inter Miami CF vs Charlotte FC

Inter Miami CF vs Charlotte FC

What a wild turn of events the Miami crowd that were given a display by both clubs. This seems like a common theme at DRV PNK Stadium during the summer but there was another delay for this match due to weather. This would be a historical victory for Miami as well as the first ever start for Alejandro Pozuelo in a Miami uniform.

Right off the bat 22 seconds into the match it would be Yordy Reyna hitting a shot past the far post to make it 1-0 for the visitors. Miami were creating chances dominating possession and deserved to have a goal on the scoreboard. Soccer can be brutally unfair sometimes with Reyna striking again in the 42nd minute making it 2-0. This would be the score heading into the dressing rooms with what seemed to be heading for Miami's third defeat in a row.

The second half magic would be sparked by Robert Taylor who sparked it in Dallas with a beautiful solo run that would be showcased league wide because of the skill used which would draw one back making it 2-1. When a goal scorer gets hot you must have him on the field and that was exactly the case for Gonzalo Higauin. A beautiful service from the captain Gregore in the 72nd minute would find the Argentine to level it at 2-2. Emerson Rodriguez who really hasn't been much of an impact would be subbed in and made his presence known. Rodriguez in the 89th minute would go ahead and score the match winning goal 3-2 to achieve a remarkable comeback. Inter Miami CF earn a crucial +3 at home to jump into the 9th spot in the Eastern Conference.

Next up for Inter Miami CF is a friendly at DRV PNK Stadium on Tuesday night against FC Barcelona.
