The Miami FC vs Orange County SC
The Miami FC hit the west coast on a road trip to face Orange County SC. Miami looked to enter the match to build upon the midweek victory against Charleston Battery 1-0. Orange County SC on the other hand looked to get back on the win column after a 2-0 defeat to Monterey Bay.
Orange County had a lot to deal with because of Miami starting four forwards which would give their defense a tough task. The defense rose to the occasion making the South Florida club uncomfortable shying away from their intense pace. Orange County would have 65% possession and limiting Miami to zero shots. This was some of the best soccer Orange County have played but couldn't convert their chances into goals.
The California team would hit the post in the 88th minute threatening Miami but that's how things would play out this entire match. Miami and Orange County would fight to a draw picking up +1 each.
