The Miami FC vs Detroit City

The Miami FC in a home midweek match up welcoming Detroit City barely escaped with a point. The opening moments of the match saw Miami dictate the tempo as well as having some chances but that would ultimately dissipate.

It was all Detroit from there on out seeing Antoine Hoppenot score his eighth goal of the season in the 22nd minute to make it 1-0. Botello Faz would see an opportunity to double the lead for the Michigan side in the 57th minute but was not able to make anything out of it.

Miami had 17 shots compared to Detroit's 11 and would finish the match controlling the possession percentage wise by a slight margin. It wouldn't be until the 95th minute of stoppage time that Adonijah Reid found the back of the net for Miami to save their skin.

The match would finish in a 1-1 draw having both teams share the points. The Miami FC will hit the road this weekend to play Charleston Battery.
