The Miami FC vs Charleston Battery
The Miami FC remain 6th in the table in the Eastern Conference of the USL Championship after Saturday's road victory over the Charleston Battery. Miami looked to get back on the win column after two draws and one defeat meanwhile Charleston has been struggling this season and look to get a streak going.
The match started quickly with Miami's Othello Bah puts one in the back of the net to make it 1-0 in the 5th minute. The Battery looked to take advantage of Miami through counter attacks but just couldn't get anything going. Florian Valot would make it 2-0 for the South Florida side with a shot from distance in the 16th minute.
A shot by Charleston's Aidan Apodaca would occur in the 28th minute and that's all that would do for them in the first half. Right before heading into the dressing room with Bah getting his second of the night making it 3-0 along with 50% possession.
Coming into the second half, Miami would do a good job weathering the storm of Charleston's energetic response to start the second half. The blue and orange would quiet that down with Romeo Parkes putting the match to bed in the 50th minute making it 4-0. The Battery would finish the match with 10 men after a red card was shown minutes after Parkes goal. Charleston would not threaten the rest of the match with Miami earning the 4-0 victory and +3 on the road.
The Miami FC will host the Pittsburgh Riverhounds next weekend.
