Almost a two week break between races as Formula One transitioned from Saudi Arabia over to Australia. This would be the homecoming race for Aussie and McClaren driver Daniel Ricciardo. For everyone on the east coast of the United States this was a late race with the red lights going off at 1:00 am. and ending at 2:30 am. Lets take a look at how the top five in the grid to start this Grand Prix.


Qualifying-

1. Charles Leclerc- Ferrari 

2. Max Verstappen- Red Bull 

3. Sergio Perez- Red Bull

4. Lando Norris- McClaren 

5. Lewis Hamilton- Mercedes 


Some names to mention who had to retire their car were Carlos Sainz, Sebastian Vettel, and Red Bull's Verstappen who yet again had another power unit failure. Leclerc was out in front the entire race and would cross the finish line comfortably. Lets take a look at how the Australian Grand Prix finished.


Final Results-

1. Charles Leclerc- Ferrari

2. Sergio Perez- Red Bull

3. George Russell- Mercedes

4. Lewis Hamilton- Mercedes

5. Lando Norris- McClaren 


Ferrari currently leads the constructors standings with 104 points. Racing resumes on April 24 from Rome.
