 Hottest Team in Baseball 




The Miami Marlins have been the hottest team in baseball rounding out the month of June. It all started at home at loanDepot Park on June 20th when Miami hosted division rivals the Atlanta Braves. The Marlins went ahead and took the series against Atlanta winning two out of the three games. The Fish would hit the road over to the west coast where they accomplished an impressive sweep over the San Francisco Giants. They would continue out west visiting the Arizona Diamondbacks with the Marlins again pulling off an impressive sweep. 





Marlins 6-2 Braves


Agustin Ramírez hit a three-run homer opening the series for the Marlins with a 6-2 victory.







Marlins 0-7 Braves


Ronald Acuña Jr had a day with two hits, walked twice, and drove in a run with the Braves defeating the Marlins 7-0.









Marlins 5-3 Braves


Sandy Alcantara pitched six strong innings which included a Kyle Stowers homer giving the Marlins the 5-3 victory and series victory.









Marlins 4-2 Giants


Otto Lopez had a big night with two hits and an RBI keeping Justin Verlander from a victory with the Marlins taking it 4-2.









Marlins 8-5 Giants 


Go ahead RBI in extra innings by Otto Lopez sees the Marlins defeat the Giants 8-5 and take the series.









Marlins 12-5 Giants


Kyle Stowers and Agustin Ramirez both homered completing the sweep of the Giants with the 12-5 victory. 










Marlins 9-8 Diamondbacks 


Otto Lopez has another big night to open the series with 3 hits and 3 RBI's defeating Arizona by a final score of 9-8. 







Marlins 8-7 Diamondbacks 


Another extra innings victory for the Marlins with Agustin Ramirez scoring in the 10th inning giving Miami the 8-7 victory. 









Marlins 6-4 Diamondbacks 


8th inning rally for the Marlins led by Otto Lopez with the go ahead two-run single gives the Marlins the 6-4 victory and series sweep over Arizona.












Next up for the Miami Marlins is a home series welcoming the Minnesota Twins to loanDepot Park.
