The Heat face the the play-in tournament for a third consecutive year
The 2024-2025 NBA season has finally come to an end with the Miami Heat ending the season on a buzzer beater loss to the Washington Wizards at home. Miami would finish the season 37-45 finishing under .500 at .451 heading to the play-in tournament for a third straight season. The second half of the season especially after losing Jimmy Butler was tough especially going on a 10-game losing streak. The Heat must win two games to make it to the first round of playoffs where the #1 seed Cleveland Cavaliers await. The Heat will go on the road to face the Chicago Bulls where a loss at the United Center will end the season and a win will advance them to player the loser of the Orlando Magic and Atlanta Hawks matchup which will also be a road game.
