The Miami Heat ruin the return of Jimmy Butler

Finally the moment arrived and if you're wondering what moment we're talking about its Jimmy Butler finally making his return to Miami to face the Heat at the Kaseya Center for the first time as a member of the Golden State Warriors. The Heat organization planned a tribute video for Butler which left everyone wondering how Heat fans would respond. Butler stated before the game that he had nothing to say to Pat and Pat better have nothing to say to him which makes it seem like a threat.

It was noticeable that Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo did not acknowledge Butler before or after the game in which confirmed through Herro that they have not talked. Butler struggled throughout the first half only scoring two points and hearing the boo's from the crowd every time he touched the ball. Adebayo seemed to take the game personal getting a dunk on Butler on the very first play of the game.

The Warriors were without Stephen Curry who caused pandemonium the day before as Golden State practiced at the facilities of Barry University in Miami Shores. Miami killed Golden State at their own game with shooting the three-ball. Herro also helped Adebayo with chipping in 20 points with Alec Burks getting in on the action with 18 points.

It was a big time win for the Miami Heat proving a point to Butler defeating the Warriors 112-86 making it two consecutive victories for Miami. Butler did not acknowledge any of his former Miami teammates and said he was grateful for his time in Miami and appreciated the fans and tribute video.

Up next for the Miami Heat is a home game welcoming the Atlanta Hawks to the Kaseya Center.
