Miami Heat vs Chicago Bulls

 Miami Heat vs Chicago Bulls

The latest on the trade deadline rumors now involves two teams that have interest in taking Jimmy Butler off of the Miami Heat's hands. The Golden State Warriors and Phoenix Suns remain the two favorites for Butler as Kevin Durant has been made available as well as possibly Andrew Wiggins. Meanwhile Miami riding a great team victory over the Spurs moves on to Chicago to face the Bulls who just traded their best player in Zach LaVine.

Both Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo who has stepped up his game offensively finished the game at the top of leaderboards for Miami with 23 points. The rookie Kel'el Ware who was named Eastern Conference rookie of the month finished the game with 17 points. Duncan Robinson had a tough night offensively finishing with eight points as well as Haywood Highsmith who took over for Jimmy Butler finished the night with five points. Off the bench for Miami was Nikola Jovic doing a great job as a sixth man finishing the game with 20 points.

For the Chicago Bulls it was Josh Giddey leading the way with 24 points as well as Matas Buzelis coming off the bench also contributing with 24 points. Coby White who has been attached to trade rumors dropped 22 points on the night. Ayo Dosunmu followed in double digits for Chicago dropping 21 points and following him was Nikola Vucevic dropping 12 points. Lonzo Ball who also has been on the trade radar closed the starting lineup dropping only five points.

Duncan Robinson who had suffered a right hip contusion got Miami running fast to start the game hitting with a run of three-pointers. Of course for Chicago Zach Collins, Kevin Huerter, and Tre Jones were not available just yet after being part of the trade deal. Bulls head coach Billy Donovan stated that they would not play before the trade deadline. Nikola Vucevic is another player on the trading block who could've played his final game at the United Center.

The game came down to the final two minutes with Coby White running down the lane getting a two-hand jam to extend the Chicago lead to 125-120. Miami who was winning the majority of this game has blown more than five games with 10-point leads or more. The Heat had no answer for Buzelis who went 10 for 10 from the field adding four three-pointers. The Bulls make a comeback and defeat the Heat by a final score of 133-124.

Up next for the Miami Heat is a road game visiting the Philadelphia 76ers.
