Miami Marlins vs New York Mets
The last two series's for the Miami Marlins have not been the best only coming away with one victory. Those lonesome two victories would come against the San Diego Padres and the Philadelphia Phillies. Miami would end the road trip visiting Citi Field for a weekend series against the New York Mets. For the most part this season the Marlins have had a good record against the Mets who have not been as dominant as they have been in previous years.
Game 1: Marlins 3-7 Mets
Roddery Munoz vs Sean Manaea
Brandon Nimmo helps the Mets with a three-run blast pushing his team past the Marlins 7-3 to open the series.
Game 2: Marlins 0-4 Mets
Max Meyer vs Luis Severino
Luis Severino pitches a shutout backed by his New York offense taking the series from Miami with the 4-0 victory.
Game 3: Marlins 3-2 Mets
Valente Bellozo vs Paul Blackburn
Derek Hill comes up clutch in the 8th inning coming up with a tie breaking RBI to help Miami avoid the sweep with the 3-2 victory.
Next up for the Miami Marlins is a home series welcoming the Arizona Diamondbacks to loanDepot Park.
