Miami Marlins vs Milwaukee Brewers
The most gossiped and rumored about trade revolving around the Miami Marlins has finally occurred. The Marlins have sent Jazz Chisholm Jr to the New York Yankees. It's the second time Miami sends one of its star players to New York as the first time was Giancarlo Stanton. Josh Bell was also placed on waivers as the team seems to be heading towards a rebuild. After a successful series against Baltimore, the Fish traveled to the midwest to take on the Milwaukee Brewers.
Game 1: Marlins 6-2 Brewers
Trevor Rogers vs Freddy Peralta
Bryan De La Cruz and Jake Burger both hit the long ball opening up the series with a 6-2 victory for the Marlins.
Game 2: Marlins 7-3 Brewers
Max Meyer vs Aaron Civale
A five-run rally in the 7th is completed with a Josh Bell three-run homer lifting the Marlins past the Brewers 7-3.
Game 3: Marlins 2-6 Brewers
Kyle Tyler vs Tobias Myers
Xavier Edwards hits a cycle for the Marlins but wasn't enough for the sweep as the Brewers pick up the win 6-2.
