Miami Marlins vs Baltimore Orioles

The start to the second half of the season started off on the right foot for the Marlins splitting a series with NL East rivals the New York Mets. There is still lots of talk of a trade for Jazz Chisholm Jr out of Miami which will surely upset fans. It's been reported that the club has already had talks with several other teams regarding the trade. The Marlins also welcomed the leading AL East Baltimore Orioles to loanDepot Park for a three-game series.

The Miami bats were alive with Jazz Chisholm Jr, Nick Gordon, and Jesus Sanchez all bringing in runs for the 6-3 victory.

Game 2: Marlins 6-3 Orioles

Edward Cabrera vs Chayce Mcdermott

Jazz Chisholm Jr comes up clutch breaking the tie in the 7th inning with a two-run double to help the Marlins get the 6-3 victory.

Game 3: Marlins 6-7 Orioles

Roddery Munoz vs Corbin Burnes

Ryan Mountcastle wins the game for his team in the 10th allowing the Orioles to earn the 7-6 victory and avoid the sweep.

Next up for the Miami Marlins is a road series visiting the Milwaukee Brewers at the weekend.
