Round 1: Miami Heat vs Boston Celtics

Round 1: Miami Heat vs Boston Celtics

They meet once again and we're talking about the Miami Heat and the Boston Celtics in yet another playoff series. Miami got the better of Boston last year in the postseason in seven games and also lead the matchups in postseason history. The Heat enter the series shorthanded without Jimmy Butler and Terry Rozier both with injuries leaving Miami with a tall task. The Celtics enter the series healthy and having the NBA's best record.

Game 1: Heat 94-114 Celtics

Jayson Tatum leads the Celtics with a triple-double as well as the three-point shot really falling for Boston to take a 1-0 series lead with the 114-94 victory over Miami.

Game 2: Heat 111-101 Celtics

Tyler Herro stepped up as exactly what Miami needed from him scoring 24 and a franchise playoff record 23 3's to even the series 1-1 after defeating the Celtics 111-101.

Game 3: Heat 84-104 Celtics

It was all Boston Celtics in the first game in Miami from beginning to end taking a 2-1 series lead with the 104-84 victory.

Game 4: Heat 88-102 Celtics

Derrick White haunts the Heat once again this time scoring 38 points which helped the Celtics take a commanding 3-1 series lead with the 102-88 victory taking both games in Miami.

Game 5: Heat 84-118 Celtics

Jaylen Brown led the charge for Boston with 25 points completing the gentleman's sweep of Miami 4-1 defeating them 118-84 ending Miami's season.

The Miami Heat enter an interesting offseason where we expect Pat Riley to make moves and already being linked to be a favorite for Kevin Durant.
