The Miami FC vs El Paso Locomotive

The Miami FC vs El Paso Locomotive

The Miami FC is starting to pick up some steam as the squad has come away with points from a draw and two victories. A win at home welcoming the El Paso Locomotives would push Miami of course with help from other league results into a playoff spot. El Paso is currently sitting in a playoff spot in the Western Conference and currently on a two-match losing streak.

Miami fans at FIU Stadium were given an absolute treat and a bang for your buck with the way the home squad played against El Paso. You could tell the the squad had a will and determination to continue this run of form pushing towards the playoffs.

MVP of the match would have to be Miami's Joaquin Rivas who was all over the field making challenges and creating opportunities. Rivas would find himself having a brace in the first half giving Miami a 2-0 lead.

El Paso tried their best to recover down from 2-0 but once again the Miami defense continues its form of discipline and being a brick wall. Unfortunately for the visitors, they would score an own goal that would increase Miami's lead to 3-0.

The blue and orange wanted to continue the domination of the match with beautiful teamwork in the midfield. In the dying moment of the match, one more blow would be delivered by Cabral who would get himself a goal to make it 4-0.

The Miami FC would go on to earn +3 with the 4-0 victory as well as jump into a playoff spot in 8th of the Eastern Conference which is the final playoff spot.

Next up for The Miami FC is a home match welcoming Indy Eleven to FIU Stadium at the weekend.
