It was a special weekend in Miami as the Miami Marlins celebrated Miguel Cabrera as it would be his final time as a player in Miami. Cabrera is a world champion with the Marlins organization in 2003 after Miami defeated the New York Yankees. He visited loanDepot Park with his longtime team of the Detroit Tigers for a weekend series.

RBI single in the 8th for Jon Berti was the difference as the Marlins open up the series with a 6-5 victory.
Game 2: Marlins 0-5 Tigers
Johnny Cueto vs Beau Brieske
Akil Badoo and Riley Greene both homer shutting out the Marlins 5-0 for a Tigers victory.
Game 3: Marlins 8-6 Tigers
Jesus Luzardo vs Tarik Skubal
Garrett Cooper and Jean Segura both homer securing a series victory for Miami with the 8-6 victory over Detroit with help from new relievers Jorge Lopez and David Robertson.
Next up for the Miami Marlins is a four-game home series at loanDepot Park welcoming the Philadelphia Phillies.
