It's been a turbulent week for the Miami Marlins losing six straight games and losing two series's to the Orioles and Cardinals. Since then they've dropped to 3rd in the NL East and they've also dropped out of the National League Wild Card picture. They welcomed the Colorado Rockies to loanDepot Park looking to break the losing streak.
Game 1: Marlins 1-6 Rockies
Braxton Garrett vs Peter Lambert
A great outing for Lambert plus three homers from the Rockies gives them a 6-1 victory to open the series.
Game 2: Marlins 3-4 Rockies
Johnny Cueto vs Chase Anderson
A go ahead RBI in the 9th gives the Rockies the edge with the 4-3 victory and the series win.
Game 3: Marlins 3-2 Rockies
Jesus Luzardo vs TY Blach
Luis Arraez breaks the Marlins losing streak with a walk-off in the 10th giving Miami the 3-2 victory.
Next up for the Miami Marlins is a road trip up the state to face the Tampa Bay Rays.
