Miami Marlins vs Boston Red Sox
The National League is on notice as the Marlins are now a ball club to take serious. Miami has not had a good season like this one currently since 2003 which was the year of their last World Series title. The Marlins leave home having won three out of four against the Pittsburgh Pirates. They travel to the oldest ballpark in America (Fenway Park) to face the Boston Red Sox.
Game 1: Marlins 10-1 Red Sox
Sandy Alcantara vs Garrett Whitlock
19 hits from the Fish plus homers from Bryan De La Cruz and Jean Segura give them the 10-1 victory to open the series.
Game 2: Marlins 6-2 Red Sox
Braxton Garrett vs Kaleb Ort
A three-run 6th inning with Jean Segura leading the way gives the Marlins the 6-2 victory and series win.
Game 3: Marlins 2-0 Red Sox
Jesus Luzardo vs Brayan Bello
Jean Segura ruins Bello's no-hitter with an infield single and helped Miami earn the series sweep with the 2-0 victory.
Next up for the Miami Marlins is a road series against NL East rivals the Atlanta Braves.
