The Miami FC vs Rio Grande Valley FC

The Miami FC vs Rio Grande Valley FC

It's been a difficult spell and run of form as of late for The Miami FC searching to get back on the victory column. Miami took a trip out west visiting Rio Grande Valley FC who currently are in a bad slump of a three-match losing streak. Both of these teams search for that victory that's going to give them three points once again.

This match started right off the bat with Miami FC earning themselves a penalty in the second minute. Kyle Murphy would step up and put away the penalty to give the visiting side a 1-0 lead.

In the 37th minute it was the home side who fought back into the match with Wilmer Cabrera Jr curling a shot into the top corner to equalize the match 1-1. Frank Lopez would send Rio Grande Valley into the dressing room with a 2-1 lead over Miami.

Claudio Repetto would rally Miami at the start of the second half equalizing the match 2-2 on a laser strike inside the box. Ryan Telfer would continue the party in the 78th minute putting Miami up 3-2 with promise of a victory coming soon.

Rio Grande Valley had other plans as in the 96th minute they would find an equalizer to knit things up 3-3. Both teams would split the points continuing their winless streaks searching for a way to get back into a playoff position.

Next up for The Miami FC is a return home where they will welcome Loudoun United into FIU Stadium next Saturday.
