Miami Marlins vs Los Angeles Angels

The Marlins enter this series having only won one game so far in this west coast road trip. They would have a chance to avenge that with a four-game duel against the Colorado Rockies which resulted in Miami only picking up one. So with two games only won on the road trip they moved on to a Memorial weekend series with the Los Angeles Angels who come off a series sweep against the Boston Red Sox.

Jorge Soler continues his crazy streak homering in his 4th straight game earning the Marlins the 6-2 victory to open up the series.

Game 2: Marlins 8-5 Angels

Edward Cabrera vs Shohei Ohtani

Make that five straight homers for Jorge Soler as the Marlins pick up the 8-5 victory in 10 innings.

Game 3: Marlins 2-0 Angels

Eury Perez vs Patrick Sandoval

In his 4th only MLB start, Eury Perez was able to strikeout Shohei Ohtani and Mike Trout helping Miami sweep the Angels with a 2-0 victory.
